hi GT, i managed to get the cupola off in the end the way you did. the air pipes were tacked on with CA by the look of it, but as i was changing them anyway i lust put a slit near the end and peeled them off. thanks for the suggestions anyway as it all helps in the end.

That is an exact description of what happened to me as well,Ghost Tanker wrote: Be warned if you try to remove the frontal armour plate too. I find the Heng Long Glue doesn't melt the plastic together like humbrol cement (or the liquid that I prefer to use) but is a clear hard setting glue, I bought a similar glue from my local hardware store its just called plastic glue but found it had no instructions on removing the glue as I had hoped.
