Thanks tank242......... I converted my HL KV-1 with the Junkenburg SU-152 kit but might come back to the KV-1 again when I have a spot in the hanger. KV-1 is still one of my favourite Russian tank. There is something metaphysical about the shape, almost like the ideal tank shape in my mind. Cosmetically I would probably leave it stock other than changing the barrel.

The Asiatam recoil units are now manufactured by Taigen (as are many other products which used to be available under the Asiatam brand) -

Welsh Dragon Models is the UK distributor for Taigen upgrade parts and accessories. Asiatam is still very much in business and bringing out their own new products.

Steve,

So the price includes the high intensity flash, the plastic mantlet as well as the old Asiatam recoil with the metal mount, right ? I might have to order one or two if that's the case.

Hi Michael,

Yes, it includes all these components. Please note our stocks of these are running low but we will be restocking at the end of the month.

Best regards,

Steve

Thanks Steve. I would probably order some over the next week or so. I wouldn't need the mantlet but will need the pivots that are attached to it.

Hey tanker 242..... No I didn't end up ordering it, got side tracked with retro fitting my "fleet" with the MAKOs/ATRCs so funding is tight. Looks like next project will be couple of clark boards which will support servo recoil so I might be trying my hands on scratch building couple of servo recoils rather than fitting the asiatam recoils. Wish me luck !
