Thanks for the comments, I just started airbrushin two years ago and am suprised by the results (we get lucky with these things, sometimes )

The Panther of the first two photos should be older, because they have no chin gun mantlet. "My camouflage" can you see several times in the movie "Deutsche Wochenschau Nr. 752"; this video is available in the internet.
The last picture in your report comes closest my expectations. Have you more information about it? From where is it and is there a description for it?

I give a little status report; because since a while I have any parts completed but not reported until today, you could already see it in previous reports on some photos.
I exchanged some Tamiya parts like original hatches and fans against parts from the WeCoHe hatch kit. So I cut out the engine cover and replaced it with the corresponding part from WeCoHe.



The support for the hatches I've made from plates of PE and glued them from the inside of the hull. The hinges of the engine cover for safety are screwed, because the engine hatch is really massive and the weight is therefore enormous.
The kit came also with the fan attachment for both sides and of course, I've used the fan for the right side.

The lifting eyes are also from this kit, the handle on the engine hatch is also made of metal, but was in his former life times a large paper clip.



With the hatches for driver and radio operator I've made it equally; I cut out the original hatch and the support for the new one from PE, glued the PE-plate from the inside and used then the new hatches. Also the support blocks for the hatches are in this WeCoHe kit included and were used from me.



With inner detailing of the hatches I've already started, but it is currently still not quite finished.



This was my short status report. But the alert observer could recognize in the photos again a few details, about they was not been reported yet, therefore, it goes on - soon.

And now, how promised, it goes on.
I've installed from WeCoHe also the kit for the gun travel lock. The fan in the photo belongs still to the hatches kit.



Like many things in this size is also the assembling of the gun travel lock a big fumbling. But when the result is satisfactory, the effort has paid off. Here are some photos.



Unfortunately I have, as always, from the actual fumbling again no pictures, only the final state I've captured on film...







Then I dedicated me to the wooden block and his holder. And again - only photos from the final state.







The wooden block is not quite ready yet, but the long winter is still coming...





With other attachment parts it goes then on, up to next time.

Fantastic Panther !....I like the work, it is excellent... You really have an eye for detail
The WeCoHe kits look to be extremely well made ...I am just about to look at the prices......so I am ready for a shock..
....Good job I was sat down......$ 80.55 that is £ 50.23 for the set of hatches.....Its VERY high quality stuff with a price tag to match.

It sure is an expencive kit, I'm only looking for a engine hatch for my JP, Wish they'd sell that pice only like the for the KT, and not only in this big kit. ohh Well.

for the wooden block I took a little piece of beechwood and the metal bands are from a rest of etchparts.
