Alfiecat, Welcome to the forum,You talk of upgrading your sons Tiger, I should warn you that upgrading is what some of us have discovered is the secret to eternal life, there is no end to what you can do, the only limit is your pocket book. I do not know how famileir you are with our/your hobby but I shall assume that we know a little more at least for now. So the warning, when you scroll down the menu you will find the Blacklisted vendors site, as you read it you will see names you recognise, leave well alone we have found out the hard way that all you will get is grief and poverty.Above that is the recommended vendors, and these are tried and tested people who will not only not rip you off but are a fount of knowledge, use them we do, any questions please ASK, someone will have the answer. enjoy. shaun

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome, got to agree about the cost fitting 4 to 1 steel gearboxes an rx18 to replace a fried rx13 and a few odds and ends has equalled the initial cost of the tank. PS don't tell the wife its our little secret lol.

Hi alfiecat.
Welcome to the forum.
Model Tanks. Easy stuff, all you need is a fat wallet, and time to play with all the other grown up children.
We do not stop playing because we grow old.
