Done a bit more last few weeks.

Built the blade front and fitted, wired up the headlights. Here's some pictures.

Here's a video of the blade working from a servo and spare channel.

Good Afternoon,
Startled me when the lights clicked on, they are bright! Does the blade angle forward and back as well as up and down?
regards,

Hey Tankbear nice work ......... Can you show the mechanical set up that moves the blade ? ie the servo / motor
I would realy like to appreciate the enginering aspect .

No the blade only goes up and down. I never thought about making it tilt as well.

Here's some pictures for Wildboar44

Here's the servo simply glued to the inside of front of the hull. By chance it fitted nicely between the gearbox and plastic tube.

Image

The servo is simply plugged into channel 5 on the receiver. (first 4 channels are used by the clark board)

Image

And finally I flick this switch on the controller which is an on/off switch but it's set to slow so it gradually moves servo from fully on to off.

Originally I thought about using HL elevation unit to lift it but got to admit the servo is a lot easy to make work.
