Hey Guys,
Thought you all would like to hear the TBS mini paired together with the Clark TK22
IMO this is the best sounding system for the cost. Even the 1/6th scale Armortek tanks use this sound card!

Re: Clark TK22 & Benedini TBS Mini Sound & Driving Test Vide
As I posted on your Youtube channel, it is awesome Steve, & I already gave you the thumbs up on it!
Just to reiterate my comments entirely, I? always liked the Benedini cards for their sounds, being programmable, & agree with you where they rank at the top. I was very tempted to purchase one myself, but their higher added cost has always put me off a little, making me hesitant to dive in on one for around $175 - $200 (adding a programming cable). It just seemed too much for only adding better engine sounds to my TK20/22 boards. With the extra money I'd rather buy 2 more Clark boards for upgrading more tanks
. Then again I'm always as thrifty (cheap) as I can be when spending money on my hobbies
, but I fully understand (& support) others when they can easily afford to splurge & want only the best when available!
That's why I was very disappointed when Clark abandoned the TK30 cards. The TK30 was supposed to offer a wavelet sound that would have been much better engine sounds than what the TK20 cards offer, & even though the sounds couldn't be user changed, they would have been closer sounding to what the Benedini offered, & for a lot less money for the total package. It was a bummer for those of us anxiously awaiting the arrival of the improved TK30 boards, that Clark believed there just wasn't a big enough market to support bringing it to us ... but from a marketing viewpoint, he was probably right.
Clark at some point this year stated he was developing a stand alone expansion board with much better engine sounds & some other advanced features, but again, the board will be without user changeable sound, so those looking specifically for that feature won't be too interested in them. However, to me (& I'm sure to some others), it will be very interesting to see & hear what these supposedly better sounding expansion boards will add to his existing TK20/22 boards, & find out what the added cost will be to the package. I've more or less been on hiatus from the hobby due to unfortunate family events stemming back to July, so I'm not planning on spending any more money on the hobby this year & have plenty of time to see if this expansion card actually materializes & will be worth the added cost to me, rather than jumping in & adding a Benedini just to get more awesome engine sounds right now.
However, for the current time I am with you, & if anyone wants awesome engine sounds to enhance their Clark boards today or for the near future, & are willing to spend the extra money, they definitely can't go wrong with adding a Benedini to the package! Every time Dan/YHR comes out with some new sounds showing a tank using the Benedini, it always places a smile on my face!
Hey Steve, how about a new video showing exactly how you've incorporated the Benedini into your Clark setup & system, that would also be awesome, thanks!
Regards,
Craig
