Hi. Will the anti track recoil unit work in a taigen HL RX18 setup airsoft BB tiger? Will this still allow the tank to fire BB's while moving? I read somewhere that once an antitrack recoil system is installed one can no longer fire on the run. Please advise...thanks!

Radio Control Custom Tanks also has a Tamiya compatible unit, for $30.00 complete, the RBU Here is what Curtis at Imortal Hoibbies had to say about the test he did. "Distance – At 101 feet I stopped moving back as 90 feet is the requirement.

The BU will only take direct shots and angled shots do not trigger the Clark or Tamiya board at that distance.

At 27 feet the indirect shot no longer triggers the board so you have the 45 deg defence but I believe Tamiya’s system stops shots at 5m = 15 feet. Once a canopy is put on your battle system this distance may shorten.

I would say it is close enough though, It seems to work fine."
