Take apart

I'm very new to this hobby do u hav to disassemble my heng long to airbrush it or can u leave tank complete cheers

you can spray it as one unit but the purists here would probably say it gets a better job taking it apart ! But remember all the bits may need to come off wooden block jack c hook etc.

Hi Edd. Welcome aboard!

It really depends on what you have in mind...

Sounds to me like you just want to spruce her up a bit. If so there's no real need to take the tank apart - just remove the tracks and away you go.

However opening is easy enough: there are a series of screws under the side sponsors and on the bottom of the tank. Take these out and the top just pops off...

Cheers it's first time airbrushing or painting and just bought a heng long tiger 1 and wanted to camofl ague it at moment it's just grey hav got primer and base coat desert yellow just wanted get it right with been first try cheers
