Hi everyone I'm a new member and new to heng long tanks and I was just wondering do you have to prime a heng long b4 painting it,cheers

Priming your model will give a nice even coat for the top coats of paint to adhere to.

Yes. I normally use a red oxide primer before painting the main colour. The red oxide is the same colour used for realistic tanks to prevent corrosion.

I have been using this primer for two years on both HL and Tamiya tanks without any problems. It also has strong adhesion to your metal parts.
