I have never seen your model of Tiger but the Heng Long apart from the screws in the base have screws along the sides accessed from above the tracks, so look between the tracks and immediately above for screws and hopefully paydirt. TANKFORCE1 is selling matched pairs of crystals for between £1.75 and £1.99 on E-BAY, you can trust him I have been buying from him for years and he is straight. shaun

on the T34 it's 4 Screws underneath - they are the inboard ones, the rest hold the suspension together - 2 up front and 2 half way down the chassis. The final screw is in the deep hole next to the aerial on the top. Maybe there is one on top of the tiger as well.
Now if you asked about crystals last weekend I could of put a 27.045 rx in the box with the controller I sent. I think the 27.255 is for the tigers so hopefully someone with a WSN tiger can help.
Sorry about that Ian, slap on the wrist for me on that score to be honest after paying £2 for the pair of them I didnt hold out much hope of both of them running & it was the T-34 that I wanted running (already got 2 HL Tigers) but decided what the heck, if Id used my loaf at the time I could have put a 27.045 reciever crystal in the Tiger & run both from that controller (1 at a time of course)
27.255 is for the Tiger but decided against battling against my little lad so will run both off the same controller. The worst bit on the Tiger is the break in the barrle which I will look at when I know it runs, just found a matching pair of crystals so may just pop them in for now & see if the tiger fires up!
To open the WSN, as far as I remember, there are five screws to unscrew.
Two under the upper hull. You need to remove the tracks to reach them.
Two on the hull in the back. You see the big and the small airintakes. Beetween them are the covers for the gasoline tanks. These round pieces with the cross in the center. You have to remove those plates then you can see the screws hidden under there.
And there is a fifth one on the hull at the front. It is hidden under the air ventilation cover. The round cover just behind the front headlight on top of the roof. Remove it and you can see the screw.
That should be it, I guess. Can´t remember seeing more screws.

Thanks, I worked it out late last night, sadly Ive come to a stop as I am unable to change the crystals as they seem to be directly fixed to the main board in the tank & the transmitter
Yes, they are directly fixed to the electronics. They are not changeable.
But you can change the electronics with RX 18 very easy.
