mg34 panzer 4 mount

mg34 panzer 4 mount

I have both a Panzer 4 and an mg34 what I need is a cupola mount for the mg and no I am not interested in the AA mount which was not a fitting on the H model in North Africa, well at least I do not think it was? shaun
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

I have been sitting here waiting for the correspondance to finally stop. So I guess no one knows. I went on line and found a nice series of photographs of an MG34 BIPOD and scratch built my own. but I still do not know what an MG34 cupola mount for an early Panzer 4 looks like.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:

Hi Jarndice ........

sorry I did not spot your first post , I have this photo from the Bundesachiv showing a Pz4 with an MG mount close up ,
my photobucket account wont load at the moment , some error message . I will upload when its back up and running .

Sorry for delay , had to fix my photobucket account. The only pictures I have in my collection is from a late model Pnz IV . I am not sure if this
was fitted to early models , perhaps the experts will advise you on that ?

Gordo, thank you for your hard work, I have yet to see an early mount and as you say these pictures are of a later model but until I am shown something different I might just go along with it, It would appear to follow the form of the later AA mount so a bit of creative work with a file should be job done. yet again thanks. shaun
