Looking really great. I'm following this with great interest as I'd love get hold of one of these KT's to refurb as you are doing. Did you strip the old paint job first or have just gone over it/ primer or sealer used?. Also, what paints and quantities are you using ? as I'm about to go shopping for paints for my 1/8 JP project. cheers mate.

I'm using lifecolor paints as I like the colour match , but I gave it a base coat of dark yellow spray paint as airbrushing it with model paints would cost a lot , I didn't strip the old paint off but I gave it a undercoat of red oxide , for sealing I use future acrylic floor polish( used to be called( klear)

Cliff,Great work!

I've been painting the Jagdpanther,I'm using an ACRYLIC PAINT I had matched at Home depot here, Half a litre for 14.00us which was a great deal, they added a base flat toner which worked very well,My issue is the FUTURE,on my 1/16 scale kits I mixed the Tamiya Flat base with the FUTURE 1/3 ratio and that worked well,Yet with the Jagdpanther and so much coverage that is not practical, did you spray the FUTURE straight? Or with something added?

I sprayed the future straight it didn't use loads , then brushed on Vallejo sepia wash , and will be giving it a few coats of Vallejo clear varnish

Thanks Ice,I have been debating doing that or using the MATT VARNISH method used on the original Painting and Weathering post.

I'm not doing a camo scheme, just leaving the Jagdpanther in Base color. Great look on the KT, really can't wait to see the finished tank.
