Tamiya King Tiger start up

Post by rock »

Hello,

I got one question regarding the Tamiya Kt.

I corrected Dmd T03, MF, speaker, bAttery and the receiver together and did the set up. When I restart the system, no sound from the speaker could be heard. Two flashing green lights were found on t03 and receiver showed solid green light ( working properly). I did run a self-test on MF unit and speaker was working okay ( really loud).

I am using futaba 6j with r2006gs receiver. I have been using the same system for my leopard 2 with no problem. I am wondering if any1 knows where is the problem.

Thank you.

Make sure your working with a fully charged and functioning tank battery and be sure the speaker is plugged in correctly.

You are right. I used a flat battery when i was setting up electronics. The weired thing was the same battery could be used to drive leopard with no problem..... Maybe the KT requires a higher voltage.

Anyway, I have solved the problem and been on progress of building it. It is my second bargain TAMIYA tank. i was really luck.

Hello All,

Problem is coming again.

What happened was the two led on t03 unit keep flashing in orange¬¬ I checked the manual and it says that the problem should be either the receiver or the transmitter. I did try to reset the dmd unit twice and the problem still exists. I used different batteries and there is no impact. The receiver has a solid green light on so I assume it has linked with the transmitter. I also did MF unit self test and it is okay with no problem as every units are working.

i am wondering the problem could be the receiver so i swapped it to my leopard which was running fine. I am not sure what causes the problem? has anyone expected this before?

thank you

Sorry guys.

I have figured out the problem which was the wrong cable plugs.

I did wrong way round when I was plugging the ch 2 cable so that the receiver couldn't work properly.

Anyway, the problem has been solved.

Thank you,

Rock
