Hi,thanks for the warm welcome to this site.this is my 2nd post so bear with if I have got it wrong.I have a heng long tiger 1 tank,bought from ebay 2nd hand, that seems to go hay wire at irregular intervals.At first I thought it might be the 2000 mah battery that came with it so I bought a 3000 mah one,charged it up fot 7 hrs with the HL 450mah charger but still no difference.THe symptoms are that the tank starts to recoil & go forward & back in a right hand turn,the turret turns to the left & gun elevatesdown until it hits the exhaust & the turret stop catches,this sequence happens the same every time soi don't think it's the battery discharging as it also happens with a fully charged battery.I can stop the process by switching the transmitter off & back on then all is ok for a very short time (about 5 mins max).Also if I turn tank on and start the engine (headlights on) then switch it off(headlights flashing) if I wait about 20 secs the controller button will not start it again until I switch the controller off & on again.Sorry to be a bit long winded but I have tried to get in as much info as I can,thanks in advance Ian

is it rx 18, if so try re,seating your crystals , it may be the receiver, board, antenna connected ? if after you have made sure wires are all seated and still persist it might be wise to change all the rx 18 bits, crystals the lot if you do it in one foul sweep it save on waiting for bits, if you do a bit at a time and save on p/p. wdm or forgebear will see you right both good dealers.

Hi, thanks cannedheat for your insight into this fault.Story so far is I've received today a pro charger in the hope that the HL one was faulty but no joy still going mad,so I am waiting for a receiver board & rx18 from a guy in Canada,when that arrives I will update again,Ian

I had to change most of the electrics on mine a bit back it seems as thou it may be the tranie if you have changed the rest ? but for £60 [ yes its a lot of money if you aint got any ]if you are uk +p'p you can get the 2.4 kit from forgebear or welsh dragon mods ,it may be wise to go down this avenue they will both look after you contact them ? wot wot .
