Rocketman - Yes the tiger / panzer shafts are shorter and have the same ends to fit the sprockets so worth a try.

The Tiger/Pz shafts are 23mm long (measured from the outside of the gearbox.)

Yep that's got it, nipped outside to the workshop and pinched the gearboxes outta my tiger project.

They still have to be offset a bit as they are too wide sat next to each other but thankfully I have the height in the model to allow for that

The white ramp holds the second gearbox

And this is it in place

Quick update, sorry if this getting boring as its not a real life tank, let me know and Ill stop posting updates!

Wheels

Cant cut pipe straight to save my life and needed something exactly 40mm across and 12mm wide. Flash of brilliance and realised wheel bearing would be brilliant. Complete one for the inner road wheel outer shell and new mould for outer. Instant metal wheels with built in bearings!

Big update, had one of my designers set the graphics and one of my suppliers ran the vinyls for me. I suppose I'd better build it some wheels now!

This just gets better every time  ......Where do you find the patience and the time to simply 'Create' these great models from and in ? :haha:
....and I love the way that the decals were made .....a designer and a supplier.....technology and contacts....Great result.

Cheers Alb glad you like.

Final bit of vinyl went down in the week. Crispy taught me how to settle it down with a hair dryer, amazing the tricks of the trade that help!
