Hey guys
This ones been bugging me for years.
My very very first temptation into the Rc Tank hobby was back when I was a kid in the 1970's, a nightly TV series called NATIONWIDE was on which was a general interest evening program. Anyway one night it had a feature on a bunch of blokes on it with rc tanks, I was totally hooked but for the life of me I cant remember enough to work out if they were scratch built, what scale or make. Im guessing it was the original Tamiya ones but would like to see again but there are lots of Nationwide links out there but not to this. Just remember thinking, one day... nice to be able to say I've done it ! Does anyone else remember this or are there even members on here now from that show?
Would love to know...

I cannot help thinking that this was the program that introduced me to Sue Lawley, trust me if a full size Chieftain had rumbled across the studio floor I doubt I would have noticed, totally besotted with her, memories of an old man, sad eh?
I think I am about to upset someone
