flair paints

Post by fv432 »

some of you wanting rattle cans for your tank builds i have found a uk paint manufacturer that sell enamel paint in 400ml spray cans
these are for sale at my local hobby shop at £8 a 400ml can
there range isnt excessive but i have it on good authority that there dark grey (matt) is pretty damn close to german grey

heres a link to there website  http://www.flairmodels.co.uk/Finishing/Spectrum.htm

I had to do a double take then, I thought  are they back in fashion? I wore them back in the 70's with tank tops.

The blurry eyes courtesy of the hangover then subsided and I saw what you really wrote, couple of colours there seem of interest, worthy of a look, thanks for the heads up.

If you want any of the Tamiya paints in cans I will be able to sort this out for anyone interested, I will be moving back to Brussels in March so the paint supply train will be back on only problem at the moment is the exchange rate is not favorable the good news is I do this at cost I don't charge for my time

those flair paints look good rob. i might go down my local paint suppliers next week and ask them if they could match the colours we use for our tanks, i know atleast one of the suppliers does put the paint in aerosols, so i think its worth a shot at seeing if they will do tank colours, for a change instead of doing boring old car paint, i'll let you know what transpires
