Good looking Tiger ! I know I saw it somewhere on the forum before but what kind of hose did you use for the exhaust ? Is it flexible enough to leave on when you flip open the Tiger from the front (i.e. pivot off the back panel).
Hi, Michael! For air intake hose I used fuel reverse pipe that I bought in car part shop. It's a rubber pipe with clothing around it.

It's flexible, but I decide to shorten the plastic tube, so I can easily take off and put on this pipe.

just looked at the length of the inner exhaust pipe on your tiger 1 (i assume?) and it looks like ¼ inch longer than on my kitty ! When the turret rotates doesn't it rub on the rear bin ? I was also wondering if your commander hatch is at the correct angle to the loader's hatch ? Very nice paint job ! Was that with an airbrush ?
Hi! I made air intake pipes the same lenght as they were on this tank before and there are no rubbing on the turret. As for commanders hatch, I mounted it according the marks on turret and this metal hatch... Thanks for compliment! Paint job is mainly airbrushed, but I can't tell You more as it wasn't made by me... As I write before, I don't have enough skills and instruments to make painting by myself... :'(

Yesterday I spent aprox. 6 hours rebuilding Tiger from BB type to an IR type! The most difficult part was to make correct wiring. But fortunately I have two IR tanks - Sherman and KV-1, so it helps a lot.
First I rebuild barrel, so I have recoil now.

Today the postman brought some benefits for our tanks:

First my observations: sounds are much louder than from previous RX-18, the sound quality seems a little bit better, control is much more accurate than with previous Heng long controller.

And after:

Thanks! About paint job - sorry, but I can't tell anything about products used in painting... :( As I din't do it by myself - I don't have enough skills and airbrush instruments to make it...

Re: taigen upgrade...... The speaker is definitely better quality but I was convinced that the sound is also better from the Taigen as well. The machine gun is not as wimpy sounding as RX-18 and the engine is definitely louder as well. Sweet upgrade. I guess you have to do all four at once so that they can still IR battle.
