Mid Production Tiger 1 Fire Extinguisher Base plate

Post by Wildboar44 »

Hi Guy's , I need your help , for a Tiger built in Nov-Dec 1943 , which shape of Extinguisher base plate end panel is correct. ?

I could not find decent photo's of both types , so I have drawn the two types of plates I have seen common on many Tiger 1's

Not sure which one is correct for that period

Thanks In anticipation

Hey Gordo,

From what I have researched, the B Type was used on the Mid Production variant and A for the Late Production. Check out my post, 3/4 of the way down http://www.rctankwarfare.co.uk/forums/v ... =22&t=9711. It is those schematics I posted for you. Later bro, got to go play UNO with my kiddies. Hope this helps.
