Re: removing one head light &placeing the outher one in the
I've covered the centre headlight in my Normandy Tiger post:
http://www.rctankwarfare.co.uk/forums/v ... =22&t=8350
As you can see there was a stage where they deleted the starboard (radio operator's) side headlight before adding the central light on the glacis...
As for a turret MG I can't see any reason why you can't wire up an extra LED to the hull MG circuit... Or did you mean the one on the cupola?

Re: removing one head light &placeing the outher one in the
Hi Tanker ..........
I dont know if you mean replacing and fitting a fine detail Co-axial MG into the turret , but this is what I did a few years ago fitting
one to my Tiger 1 , it is currently stripped down ( a BB version at the moment ) so the pics are in its stripped down state.
First after removing the top from the hull and disconnecting the wires , remove these 3 screws from the turret ring

Then remove these screws from the under side of the turret

most of the (BB) unit will simply separate and come away , but remove these 3 elevation unit scres from inside the turret "bin"

Then to separate the plastic barrel ( if yours is a BB unit) remove this screw and the other one on the opposite side and slide off

Be carefull not to breal off the wires to the BB red warning light , it needs to be prized out of this socket

The green arrow indicates where the HL plastic turret MG was , this is the fine detail unit replacement

The replacement on this unit supplied by Welsh Dragon will fit straight in the original hole, simply use silicone sealent to bond

This is how it looks fitted from outside

For the wiring , this is soldered onto the corresponding coloured wiring of the hull MG / light board

These are the wires from the turret and how they pair up with the Hull MG

Hope that helps ?

Re: removing one head light &placeing the outher one in the
thanks guys that helps a bit but what i need to know is can u cut the wires to one headlight & move the outher to the centre .iff so witch wires to cut & witch light to move to centre, allso wildboar 44 are th two wires black & yellow in ur last photo for centre mounted headlight ?
Re: removing one head light &placeing the outher one in the
I think the headlights are wired in serial, so just follow from the square board to the first one and use that one as your centre headlight. You can unsolder the second one from the first one. If yours is wired parallel (i.e. there is a set of wires going to each of the headlights from the square board) then just unsolder the one you are not using as centre.
Don't worry about the colour of the wires. Just make sure you keep the first one (if it is serial) and just unsolder one set from the board (if it is parallel).
For the turret MG just solder it the same way as the hull MG like wildboar's, if it doesn't work just switch them. Won't hurt anything.

Hi Tanker......
As MichaelC explains , it wont matter which light you cut the leads from , either one will be ok . you can move either
to the centre , just pick one, move it and disconnect the other .
Yes the small yellow and black leads are from a replacement scale size single central headlamp

What did you do with the old headlight mount on the hull sides ? I moved mine but haven't done anything to the old mounting points yet.
