Panzer III Front mudguard clamp?

Panzer III Front mudguard clamp?

Hello! Can anyone help with a picture of a Panzer III front mudguard clamp in place. I have found a good picture of the clamp for the purpose of modelling them-(http://jtrowbridge5.smugmug.com/Bovingt ... walkaround)-Third page, 9th photo. The 'Photosniper Panzer III AUSF.J/L/M' book appears to show them attached to the mudguard from below and i am wondering if they were kept in place by being spring loaded? (See drawing!). :{
