Hi

The guy down the road from me is selling this.

Look at the 3D printed muzzle. What next for us do you reckon? What would you have printed?

Don't get me wrong, I would too. I was merely trying to show the 3D printed muzzle and what that sort of technology is capable of. It could spell the end of injection molding.

3D printing is excellent - we've made fully articulated 1 piece tracks at work just to prove you can. The downside at the moment is cost - if you think ink cartridges are expensive, theyr'e a bargain compared to plastic cartridges. We spent £8k just on cartridges making parts for a model last year

Yes that is expensive. But remember when VHS camcorders were on sale many years ago and how technology improves and becomes cheaper. I like the idea of having custom made detailing.

Hi Andy in Cheltenham,
I was too stunned by the detail to look at the price..... 8O .....£405 That IS expensive...but if you like REAL detail then this has to be the kit to buy, the interior is unbelievable ! and as you say the muzzle brake is an amazing piece of work.
.
@Tankie .....Can I just get this clear in my mind...You made a 'Fully articulated ONE PIECE track'......in one single piece on a MACHINE...without track pins ?...it just made the whole thing ??
and if the answer is YES ....then the question of HOW can IT do that ..is probably just too dangerous to ask.... :haha:
