Tiger 1 Barrel extender BB or no BB ?

Hi Guy's and Dolls .......

Will fitting the barrel extender to a Heng Long Tiger mean I will not be able to use the BB option any longer ?

you must then change the inner barrel too

i did this on my tiger, but as the HL airsoft system is crap, i ended up swaping int with a VS one.

I have had no problems with any of my Heng Long BB units and they all fire up to 25 metres - what you do need to do is make sure the aluminium inner barrel is cleaned out, they often have little bits of plastic scrapings in them from when it is inserted into the outer moulded barrel, and these impede the passage of the BB's. Once cleared out it performs as required and even better if you use better quality BB's not the lightweight Heng Long ones.

I switched to an all metal barrel and Taigen recoil before putting my extended one to the test - inner metal tube which fits inside the plastic HL barrel is clearly not long enough. Find a piece of metal tubing of the same diameter and it should work. Proper alignment is obviously the key...
