Post by Sydney »

Does anyone know how to set these up,i have been through the manual many times and it
always relates to Aircraft or Helicopters.I have managed to get a few functions on the tank working,
but very limited.Do you use EPA settings first then Dual rate? any help really appreciated.

Syd
what you setting it up for? Tamiya, Hooben, Heng Long? what electronics do you have? I think you will get more answers if you give us some detail on what it is your trying to do.

I can get everything working except the gun recoil system on a Chunwai Challenger 2 1/8 scale.

The control for the gun is on channel 5 , on the TX it is the "H Gear / HGyro " switch( just above the
throttle/rudder control stick.

The recoil system works with an electric motor that revolves and activates a cam that makes the barrel
recoil.

What i am wondering is what sort of settings do i apply on channel 5, do i use EPA, Dual rate, etc

Personally i find the Futaba too complicated to set up, maybe its just me not being used to it.

Any advice would be really appreciated.......thanks.......Syd

Well i found out what the problem is with the recoil, the motor is seized up!,
emailed Chunwai models and asked for a new motor(not even 2 months old so should have warenty
on it -i hope!).
