Re: Bristol Newbie
HI welcome, Your choice of tank is going to be dependant upon your pocket book and what you want it for and of course how much detailing you want. First of all I would urge you to go to the vendors site, you will find approved/recommended dealers and that will save you money and these people are enthusiasts who in common with everyone here will help if you have any problems, of course there is a downside with vendors as you will discover if you read the disaproved section, but at least you will have saved yourself aggravation, read through this section and you will find all the information possable on the tank/tanks you want and how to get the best from them.
I think I am about to upset someone

Re: Bristol Newbie
hi rob
welcome to the forum
what scale are you looking for?
as i've only seen the challenger in the big boys section.
as for the german stuff there's plenty to choose from & really it all comes down
to personal taste.
if your good at modeling, you could always try to get some plans & scratch build one.
there's some amazing stuff on here, just trawl through & have a look.
cheers

Nice one been thinking about just getting one around the £150-£300 mark first whanted British as I spent 13 yrs on them ,and was going to custom it the same as the actual Wagons i served on ,but they are well out of my initial price range ,Scratch building is not for me at the moment as little free time on my hands ,seen some fantastic Wagons on this forum ,remember paint spraying in W Germany and we did custom spray jobs ,however our Sqn's were told to change them back to standard nato pattern thanks for the advice again.lister fiend wrote:hi rob

Hi Rob, Welcome to the Forum./
For a first tank I would try a Heng Long Panther or King Tiger, they are more accurate than the Tiger 1 and you can tweak them up as much or little as you want !!
