Hi all my names Jav and new to the tank scene but have raced 1/5 and 1/8 scales cars for a while
Based in Bucks UK, I've just got myself a HL Snow leopard, King Tiger, and a Tiger 1 for me and the 2 lads to play with,
all 3 tanks are bb versions with metal tracks and gear box,
Where can I find a list of Clubs in the UK, espeacialy ones in the south east,
Have noticed there is a lot of options for upgrading, Ahave good engineering / Electrical skills, but my painting skills looks like Stevie Wonder been giving me leasons
Any way am looking to add an IR battle system so we can have some fun but am confused as to what to get, the hl ir system looks cheap enough and would do for us to battle each other, but if we were to join a club, from reading on the forums, we would need a tamiya compatible system also like to upgrade to a 2.4 system so that we didn't have to worry about clashing freq,
Apart from the electronics what be the order if we wanted to start upgrading,
As a rule I like to Upgrade as and when money allows or before things normally start break first
Sorry for all the questions but have been reading so many forums I've confused myself

Hey Jav,
Welcome to the forum, sounds like you'll have your hands full with two boys hunting you down with airsoft tanks. If your looking for a club, check here:

Re: Hello
hi jav
welcome to the forum.
if you've already got 2.4ghz transmitters i would
suggest getting clark boards, for your most cost effective solution.
there fairly cheap & you can sell the rx18's to help fund them.
mine have all got bb's aswell & i'm not in a club, so cant help you there.
have a look on clark-model.com but there out of stock till february.
cheers
