If battery if ok maybe the controller needs binding to the tank again. I don't have a taigen so not certain how you do it.

The heng long uses Fm radio so no binding just matching the crystals.

Try this http://www.rctankwarfare.co.uk/forums/v ... 77&t=10080 about fourth post down.

The lights flash when the tank is first switched on then go to full on when the start button is pressed and the engine start sounds finish and it "idles" it sounds as if its not getting the start signal through, you need to check batteries first - it needs a full charge (3 1/2 hours) on receipt as the battery is not fully charged when you get it, also check transmitter batteries its often the 8 batteries not quite seating properly that causes these type of problems.
If that does not resolve it try re-seating the crystals and checking the receiver board cable has not come loose.

Philip, If you have a 2.4 ghz Tiger, first things first, switch on the transmitter first, switch on the tank next, the transmitter should have been binded at the factory if not the red light on the transmitter will flash for about 5 minutes as it completes the process, the two chrome switches on the top left and right of the transmitter need switching towards you, by the way do make sure the ariel is upright, the switch on the top left controls the engine noise the right switch the hull machine gun. After you have switched on the transmitter then the tank apart from the lights flashing nothing will happen for what seems ages but all of a sudden the engine will turn over then fire and run but before it does you will find the smoke unit heating up. once the engine is running you are ready. do not forget shutting down is the opposite of starting up, so tank off then transmitter.
I think I am about to upset someone :haha:
