HL panzer IV
Don't know if this is in the right place?
I just received my panzer IV and i ran it outside in the lawn, dissapointing!!!!!!!!! straight ahead is no problem but when turning the panzer just
has to little torque!!
Since i am a newbie to tanks, what are my options with this problem?
Also, are there anythings i should do or check on the tank before i tear it apart to start with the detailing?
Thanks
Dean

Re: HL panzer IV
Hi Dean,
If the grass is long and the Panzer IV is a standard gearbox Heng Long it may be that the grass is getting caught in the tracks......or the battery may need another full charge if it a bit low on power this could also explain its difficulty in steering.

Re: HL panzer IV
I have been looking around for some parts for the Panzer IV and one thing i want to change immediatly are the headlights,i found some very nice Bosch items from Schumo
but they are meant for the panzer III,is it possible these were used on the IV as well or am i being to picky?
Thanks

Dietrich,
I didn't give the steering much attention, dismantled the hull and now working on that.
I'll give the drivetrain some attention after the hull and turret.
