Re: panther Night vision
Hi,
I cannot see why this would cause a problem with the electrics on the Tiger, its an LED light, and that should not interfere with the electronics. It would probably need its own on/0ff power supply unless you just have it as a permanently 'on' feature........
....
Historically speaking ,the Tiger 1 was not fitted with the 'Night Fighting Equipment' to my knowledge...but using the 'What-If' scenario then it will not be a problem and may actually look good.
The part itself certainly looks to be very well made !....

.
IF I ever finish my 'Night Fighter 1946 Tiger 1' I will be using THIS modified boat search lamp as an Infra Red Lamp, together with at least one other I/R 'driving lamp', and probably another I/R on the turret roof for the commanders use.
The lamp will be painted and Not left in the chrome !!...
Alb.
I will add it to the gun area and pivot it much like the soviets did on the T-54 / 55.
