As long as you are going to change some things I would suggest getting rid of all the fender mounted ammo cans as this method of carrying extra ammo did not come into use untill Korea when the tanks carried as much extra ammo as possible to supply the ground pounders with ammo for their small arms and crew served weapons Ive never seen a ww2 photo of a pershing with ammo cans mounted on the fenders. I love the weathering you did. As someone who worked armour for 7 1/2 yrs in the '70's Id say it could not be more accurate for a vehicle thats been out in the field for as little as a week doing manuvers and tank gunnery training after leaving base all clean and shined up.

Thanks for the info. For the weathering I had the great pleasure to be gunner before to move to tank commander in a MBT platoon, I always remember how durty a tank can be. Just moving on colum on a road change the color with the dust. if you are going on off road (what a tank is made for) you have an incredible amount of mud (particulary ifthe ground is wet or if it's raining) On the firing range too due to the blast when earth is dry your tank is soon covered of dust. The crews going up and down too. I remember on a lot of our tanks we had a big brush to cleen the combat shoes before to get in but always a lot of foot print made of dirt on the side and the turret of our tanks.

As far as the tow hooks go they were used in europe near the end of the war . If you check the show off forum on someones pershing posting that was also criticsised for having the t shaped two hooks I posted a picture of the pershing named FIREBALL after ot was hit by an german shell and towed to a wheck storage area in 1945 and it clearly shows the T shaped tow attachment on its front left hand tow bracket.
