As you may have noticed from my previous posts, my favourite 1/16 tank creations, tend to be scratch built or hybrid conversions models of WW2 rare heavy tanks.
Well here is my new creation
KV-2 built from a Heng Long body with a Tamiya turret and scratch built mantel and gun. The original idea was to scratch build the whole of the turret. However, I got hold of the basic turret parts from Japan, which came in handy, and used the sights, rear machine gun (now flashing), sights and cupola from the KV-1, as well as the airsoft gun and internals of the KV-1 turret.
et voila, or more appropriately, ? :
