quick charger

quick charger

Hello tankers
I have an old 15 minute acoms quick charger
& was wondering if this would damage
My battery.
It's a standard 1700 One.

Hi Lister,
I forgot to say that I use a 'Pro-Peak' Varipulse AC/DC Delta Peak Fast Charger...and its maximum setting on AC mains is 3 AMP...BUT 5.5 AMP on DC from a car battery.....I have no idea why there is a difference in what it can supply at AC...I guess that it is harder work for the charger to 'adapt' from the AC AND to 'charge' at once!
