Tank driving obstacles?

Post by Nerge »

Hi all,

Now, I have a decent sized garden but not really any great spots in it for tank driving, so I was thinking about creating a few obstacles that I could just place when needed to make the driving a little more intereseting - as opposed to driving over a relatively flat piece of lawn or concrete. :)

Does anyone have any examples of bridges or obstacles they've created for this type of thing or have any building suggestions or tips? While I'd love the idea of creating a more permanent course or area in the garden, I don't think it's going to happen (the gf thinks I'm crazy enough already), so some temporary obstacles may be a decent alternative. :)

Would love to see any examples if you have 'em. :)
Regards,

I find a few pieces if old timber 1" x 2" randomly thrown across the lawn. Gives you chance to manoeuvre around and if you hit if wrong angle you get grounded (track each side and no traction)

Also can make ramps but make too high and fall off likely break bits on tank (been there done that :{)

You could also trying making a few buildings like this

or few oil barrel like this

I've later found from another member that cutting a wooden broom stick and painting also works for creating barrels (probably easier)
