Hi Jussek,

normally you can't turn the gun barrel (like a screw), but it's still not impossible.

In the pic I've circled the gun barrel holder in the turret, how you can see, is it only srewed with two screws. If they are not right tightened, then you can turn the barrel.
To repair this you must take upper hull from lower hull and disconnect turret from upper hull. Afterwards take off turret ground plate and your view is shown as well in my pic. I hope for you, that there's no damage. Eventually you must take a drop glue to fix it.

hi Hotte,

i'm to admit that i'v been a bit lazzy (well, busy with another cat), i could have done that for myself... :{ but as i've done nothing yet with my new tank except for test if all functions are working, i preferred to ask, hopping it was a direct reply... ;D

I forgot to say that my tank is a BB shooter, so our guns guts are different, and it shoots anyway, so nothing is lost yet ;-)

at this moment i'm immersed in the complete rework of my Tiger I, so i do not plan to do nothing with the KöTi until i finish it's little brother ;-)... well, only one thing, i will install the beier soundmodul and this will be all for a while... ;D

thank you very much for your reply!

Hi Jussek,

I've often heard that beier soundmodul is a good one and makes a super sound, also If I don't use it myself.
I hope you show us pics from your "little cat"...

hi Hotte,

sure, i will post pics of the process of the work with the littel one, he is "Tiki" btw, and also i will do the same with the big one ;)

yesterday i was bussy thinking how to install the Beier and a new speaker (visaton FRS7), and i ended up with the KöTi completelly emptied in order to reorganize all the electronics (speaker box and smoke unit discarded). Today i will make a new internal base (identical to the one i made for the Tiger I), similar to your's, but made from plastic and 'waterproof', except for the open upper part it will not permit the access of water in case the tank runs in shallow waters.

i will then rearrange all the guts inside, and make the speaker box the bigger possible.

as i will do that, i will open the turret too and take a look to the gun tube

regarding the Beier soundmodule, yes, it sounds fantastic! with the new firmware, in addittion to the sounds you can also disable the cannonshot jumping and add inertia to the tank.

i will report about the gun tube issue.

best regards and thankyou very much again!
