HL KV 1 swingarm mod

Post by blimp »

Hello peeps , me again ;D
Here is an easy way to hide the 'slot 'n peg' affair - I used some filler/scrap plastic and a piece of piano wire . . .
Image
. . . the oblong slot was filled in and a small hole drilled just below the centre line - towards the rear of the mount on a KV then a piece of stiff , thin wire 8mm long was CA'd in , the plastic is 5mm thick here , plenty strong enough . This pin engages into the hollow back of the swingarms hub . . .

. . . now you can trim off the locating peg , and just reassemble again . Look Mum , no holes ;)
* Oh , btw - the two front arms are slightly higher , these holes were done a bit lower to compensate , making them all level . . .

. . . It may even work on other models too :problem:
to the bouncy room ! Yay !
