Mato Sherman
Hi guy's I am not having much luck getting my sherman rolling. I've fried two RX-18 is the last two days. I hook up the battery to the unit and got the sprocket's turning but I have a 12 pin connector on the mato on the sherman. So I thought I'd pull the plugs for the lights. It made an 8 pin connection. hooked it upand smoke started coming out of my RX-18. Hooked it in today with a few rerouted wires and melted a hole bunch of wires plus a new RX-18. Can anyone send me the wiring diagram for the mato or is there anyone in Canada who rewires them ?

you need all the hl switches and cables
you must strip out ,on off switch and volume switch ,the mato on off switches the earth ,the hl switches the positive .the mato volume is 2 wire the hl is 3
next fit your smoke machine under the mato speaker in rear of hull with smoke on off switch in the hole thats there ,there are holes in the rear panel for smoke pipes ,strange?
next on the upper hull cut sockets off wires coming from the turret ,but leave the socket on the 2 white wires this is the track recoil trigger and can plug straight in to rx18 also remove mato socket board from upper hull this is not needed,you can use a hl connector board or wire direct to the rx18 cable
wire colours are green /brown for elevation motor .green goes to yellow on rx cable
brown goes to green on rx cable
bb gun wires red and black , the red goes to the same yellow on the rx cable as the elevation motor
the black goes to brown on the rx cable
turret rotation are black and red these go to orange and white on rx cable, if turret turns the wrong way just swop the wires round
machine gun goes blue and red on rx
led lights bit trial and error as the wiring on the mato hull in not compatible so strip the led wiring out or it will send you nuts ! wire as a hl upper hull
