Torro King Tiger barrel removal help.

Post by superguybrett »

Hey guys, i'm in the process of stripping the tank down to repaint and detail it.
I got barrel removed easily, but the piece that has the guard and goes through turret to piece that connects to the recoil / barrel movement.
I cannot work out how to split the pieces for removal.
Any help or previous experience would be of great help.
Many thanks for your help.

This part can unfortunately not be disassembled without destroying it. :'(

Yes there you're right, turret painting is not so easy at the Torro KT.
I had disassembled and removed recoil unit complete.

In this state I've applied the zimmerit coating on the turret and painted until to basic color darkyellow (three-color camouflage).
