Panther G, Refinish Job On My 1st Tank
I got into r/c tanks just two years ago and went from never using an airbrush, assembling electronics or soldering small wiring connections.
My first tank was an HL Panther G., airsoft. As our local club grew, unfortunately airsoft became redundant for several reasons, mainly insurance related and the facility where we hold our meets (excellent site) did not want it there.
So, the Panther received an SLU, HL |Upgrade Flash and Mato 3:1's, as well as a camo pattern taken from historic photos from the Lake Balaton area in Hungary 1945.

Excellent make over mate!
Just goes to show our tanks are never really finished.
All it takes sometimes is a new lick of paint and a great job you've done too

Actually, I was very surprised by the result, I have never been able to spray fine lines like that, before.
I wasn't at all sure I could it all that well and had a "contingency Camo Scheme" selected, in the event I couldn't do it properly.
Sometimes it pays to step out of one's comfort zone and try things like this
