For we American tankers it was a less than a spectacular event as the Germans fought with tenacity and perseverance, and could not be ousted from the main village on all but one occasion, after which they immediately counter attacked and took back the real estate. It seemed that the King Tiger was indeed….King of the Hill…..on this day.
We also had one of our newest members drive 6+ hours from the western slopes of Colorado to join us. We again wish to thank Greg for his sacrifice and dedication in making that trip, and for heading up the Western Slope Division of FRAG. We hope he is successful in recruiting new members from out there, who will make the trip with him in the future.
