FRAG July 28, 2012 US Camp Pics
As stated in our other thread, the American tankers had considerable difficulty overcoming the German opposition. In each attempt, the Americans advanced from their base camp, heading out in any of 4 routes of advance…..often with a couple of tanks on the same line of march. There were 3 Pershings and an “up-gunned” Sherman on the attack. Usually they went up against 2 KTs and 2 T-1s.
