Swap over anyone ?

Post by Bullseye »

Hello tanky techs

Ok I am not going to waste my time waiting for a response from nitrotek, that and the returns policy I dreadful,

Here goes, I bought my new tank from the above late last week only to find that the bb's dint project correctly from the barrel, if they do they pop out with a simple lifeless fall to the ground like artillery shells that are made in Tibet, no offence to anyone that is unlikely from Tibet on this forum, of course there are no artillery manufacturers in the mountain ranges of Tibet, I purely meant that they throw them of mountains, anyway I'm getting side tracked again, where was I
Ah yes, so they either roll out the barrel'' please let's not get me on started on that song err I mean sentence'' or they come out in two's and threes in a claymore action, everywhere but straight,
Gutted I am after paying 179.99 for what is meant to be the dogs nads of taigen tanks.
The question I would like to know is that am I able to swap over my working airsoft mech from my un recoiling KV1 to my Taigen Full metal upgrade Tiger one that does recoil ?

Thanks and hope it makes sense

Hi Bullseye,
Yes it makes perfect sense, and the answer is almost certainly a yes  .......The main question is do you know how to take the turret apart and what kind of receiver board do you have in it ??
P.M. me if you like or I will try to keep my eye on this thread for your reply..... :)

Hi Alb thank you for the swift reply!
both tanks have the rx 18 although the kv1 does not have the recoil switch and the tiger does, yesterday I stripped the tiger down to the point that the 5 turret screws were out but I was unable to separate the section as it looked as if the pre made zimmerit miliput was under pressure and I didn't want to damage it in case I need to return the tank, awful returns policys from a make money and up yours to after care help company has help my bite the bullet to fix. Doing this tx on the phone so excuse if there is any 'seplilgn' errors,

Hi ,
No problem. :) Are you now going to split the turret ??? ...if so it is probably worth trying the 'cut' through the zimmerit at the joint to avoid having any disasters like a large chunk flaking off as you split the pieces or because you 'squeezed' the turret hard and the plastic moved but the zimmerit stayed in place, if you see what I mean ?
If you are going to cut it, do you need a photo of a Tiger turret to show you the exact position of the joint between the top/ sides and the bottom ??? ...If so I can send you one straight away..
