Hello! I've been looking around trying to find images or references for zimmerit on the jagdpanther. I've found some photos (such as the one in the Imperial War Museum) that does not have zim applied where the tool holders/jack block/cleaning rod holder/spare tracks are located along the sides, but does have the zim all along the upper part of the hull. I've also see photos where the zim is applied all the way down, and the various parts noted above are bolted on over top of it.
I'm thinking that the examples where the zim does not come all the way down might be a field application and the other examples are factory applied? Anyone know of any reference sites for what was the standard zim application for a jagdpanther?
I've tried Google, looking around various websites, but can't seem to find anything. Any help would be appreciated!
Cheers!

Re: jagdpanther zimmerit?
My understanding is the zim was applied after the tool brackets, etc...
I have pics in the 654th book that show new JPs after they completed rearranging the stowage and there was no zim in the equipments old location.
