They won't work together, you need to get a non-s&s transmitter or replace the tanks electronics with s&s set up.
Tamiya Tiger 1, Tamiya M4 (105) HVSS, Tamiya Jagdpanther G1, ElMod Jagdpanther G2, ElMod KV-1E, ElMod StuG 40 G

First Identify the control unit in the tank? RX13 OR rx14 are the older types,Replace with the newer RX18 and the 8 pin connector, and other connector in the above link. It would be helpful if you disassemble the Tank and open the hull so we can then guide you on the new parts installation.
Removing the tracks(pins push in toward the tank) and this exposes 6 screws(three on each side under the fenders) the removal of these screws will separate the upper and lower hulls.
Also their are other sources for the parts, but Welsh Dragon is a proven vender in service and sales but also in support of the Hobby.
My first Tank was a Tiger and if not for the forum it would have been very difficult for me to disassemble and service on my own.
So understand everyone starts with their first tank, learns, grows in the Hobby, becomes addicted and has alot of fun!

Not quite correct, the TK01 is the non smoke and sound board, both the RX 13 and 14 are earlier smoke and sound boards, the RX 13 has all the wires soldered directly on it the RX 14 has some connector plugs but still a couple of wires soldered directly to it.Saxondog wrote:

What you need to look for is the non smoke and sound board has the receiver as part of the circuit, and the ABC channel switch, and the RX 13 and 14 have a separate receiver board that takes the crystals just like the RX18.
