my turret only turns one way part 2

hello to all. still trying to fix my tiger tank. checked the voltage at the pin connector when rotating left, was just over 7v. when rotating it right however, it only reads 2v. what do you all think? does it confirm my thoughts of a board fault. thanks again......malc

I am having same problem with my 1/24th leopard 2a5. Does anyone have the wiring diagrams or can tell me what I need to check to see hwats wrong.

I had a similar glitch , it turned out to be an intermittant contact in the TX . btw - 7v is the motor draw under load , the lower figure is just the 'standby' voltage , so i'd say your RX 18 is OK . If you have a spare Transmitter , try that first .

Ive had the same problem on a number of my tanks ( all have rx 18s ) and the problem has allway been in the transmitter. The contacts for the turret movement get loose and after opening up the transmitter, removieng the small and thin contact bar flattening its center to its original shape then carefully reinstalling making sure the 2 small plastic pins go into the holes in the contact and scewing it back into place the problem has always been fixed. hope that can be off some help.

GreenGiant,first welcome. The repair you outline,any chance of a post with pictures,seems you have discovered a very common fault and the repair in pictures would be very helpful to many.

I can help here , this is a shot of a contact arm and it's plate ( motors ) but the parts are very similar with all HL Tx's .
