Is the RX18 Board man enough

Hello Tankers, does anyone no if the RX18 bord would be man enough to run a drive motor off the turret wiring to make a winch ?

Depends if it be through a gearbox or direct drive.

Through a gearbox I would of thought so, plus the diameter of the winch will have an effect. i.e. smaller diameter will have more torque but slower lift.

Thanks for the reply, might give it a go just didn't want to destroy the controler.

personally I would run a micro relay switch off the machine gun to control the winch which would get it's power directly from the battery. I don't think it would be hard to work out. I don't think I would try anything else, The RX18 is low cost but you could blow a few of them.
