Missing images from posts?

Hi
I was looking through some older posts where peeps had described alterations and mods with reference to images in the text. I have only found one that has the images attached.
I am a bit confused.

Welcome to the forum, i had some pictures on in the hints and tips section but removed them because if i remember rightly there was an issue with space on the server so as said i removed mine to give someone else a chance

Plus a lot of the pictures were lost when the server went down several years ago

As monkey said, several years ago our old host disappeared and we hadn't backed up any of the attachments, which means a lot of the old posts are missing pictures. This won't be happening again as we now store daily backups on a different server and have enough space to store several hundred years worth of images at the current rate
