Wanted to introduce myself. Just ordered a HL King Tiger off of Amazon.com, it's the basic tank, no metal tracks, or gearbox that I know of. Plan to fart around with it for a bit, then strip it down, add zimmerit, photo etch, and paint, brass 3 to 1 gears, some sort of track tensioner, metal tracks, drive sprocket, and idler. I am little better than a novice when it comes to RC, but have been building models (sci fi, armor, ships) for the last fourty years. Hope to learn lots from the old salts here, as well as maybe bring a bit of modeling experience to the table! I look forward to chatting with you all in the future.
                                        John
