What was your total cost? It looks great.

Hi Andy!

It was around R3500.. Thats about 265 pounds (paint, wood, 2x drills, chain, 36 bearings(some salvaged), glue, 4x servos and reseiver(without the radio) and a generous neighbour suplied the plastics )

That is a magnificent tank that you made. Are the screws that are holding the track pads on countersunk? If not, you should give it a try so the screws don't get grinded down from long use. Just be sure to not countersink the pads to far or you will have to start a new one.

Thanx ! I did not countersink the pads, the allen key bolts are just screwed on tight that they pull into the plastic quite a bit. I have tried to countersink the pads but the drill or cuontersink bit tends to "bite" into the plastic resulting in a cuontersink that is too beep so didnt bother... The screws do get grinded down but only when neutral turning on abrasive surfaces
