Does anyone know how a kindle handles books which have pictures and illustratiosn in i.e. like our tank books?

Got a few PDF books but not certain if suitable for a kindle as large file size 20-50mb and no real text (there is but scanned so seen as a picture)

Cheers

Ian.

The pdf books I have tested on a kindle are terry pratchet and are 0.25mb each. At the size you are talking about you would need to store them on a pc and transfer via usb for short term use I would think. The freeware software calibre can be used to do this http://calibre-ebook.com/
Pictures can be very detailed, I gues it depends on the quality of the file to begin with
