Tank wholesalers

Post by Padge »

Hi Guys.

I am relatively new to the forum and from Southern Ireland. I am a proud owner of a Armortek King Tiger. I absolutely love this hobby and love tuning in to all the chat on the forum. The expertise of the members is terrific.

I wonder if I could enlist your help. I am currently in the process of opening a Model shop and have pretty much sorted out the range of stock that I want to carry. The only problem is that I also want to stock tanks but I am having difficulty in locating a wholesaler. I know that Nitrotek stock Taigen tanks but some of the reviews on this forum haven't been very flattering. In addition I want to stock a good quality tank with good reliabilty.

I would be very grateful if anyone could point me in the right direction.

Many thanks

Hi Padge,
Sorry there...I missed your joining to get a chance to say Hello ! ...I think that you already know that it is a great place.....and just in case..there is a search box in the top right hand corner of the main Forum banner which is very helpful...but if that does not work then just start a post and someone is sure to come along to help you.
If you do manage to set up as a vendor then 'Good Luck' with the business and please keep us updated with how you get on....

Mick from Sligo, you should join us at the Duncannon military festival at the june bank holiday. Myself and Padge hope to have our 1/6 tanks there and some 1/16 stuff also.
Welcome to the forum Padge. It would be great to get some Irish enthusiasts together.

Thanks Panzer, Mick and Dietrich for your welcome and assistance. I hope to have the shop open in the next 3 weeks covering a wide variety of stocks including tanks. I just wanted to ensure that we were able to get affordable and reasonable quality tanks. I have heard that Heng Long tanks can be a bit dubious. Nitrotek now do Taigen and claim that their quality is very good. Is Taigen and Heng Long one of the same?
It would be great if we could get a few enthuasiasts here in Ireland

Regards

Padge
